CHOCOLATE- APRICOT HEART
Ingredients :
For the cake:
- 180 g of butter.
- 1/2 chocolate bar
- 6 eggs
-100g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 1/2 sachet of yeast.
- The jam of your choice
For the icing:
- 180 g of chocolate
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon of liquid cream
- 100 g of sugar.
Preparation :
- Separate the whites from the yolks, then beat the whites until stiff.
- In a bowl, beat the yolks and sugar until the mixture turns white.
- Gradually add the flour and yeast to the preparation.
- Add the butter and melted chocolate.
- Once the preparation has cooled, add the egg whites.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 180 ° C.
- Let the cake cool before cutting it in half to add the jam of your choice.
For the icing:
- In a saucepan, heat the maple syrup or honey, add the chocolate, liquid cream and sugar. Mix well, then cover the cake.
- Cover with icing sugar.
